The DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) and the DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) validate French language skills from first learning (level A1) to the most advanced levels (C1 – C2) of the Common European Framework of Reference.
While the DELF tests levels A1, A2, B1 and B2, the DALF consists of the two most advanced levels: C1 and C2. Obtaining the DALF attests to a very good command of the French language.
These are official diplomas of French as a foreign language.
